I produced this work in about one week working on it diligently 6 to 8 hours a day.  Here you have Jonah just about to be swallowed by the great fish, while his former shipmates look on in terror.  As I write this, 6-27-09 this painting hangs in the section for digital painting at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego California.  It won an honorable mention against a very tough field.  Anyhow, this is an awesome piece and one that has been tackled from every angle by the great masters and yet I don’t think one has him in this situation actually at the moment of being swallowed.
